Why I Love to Travel – Photo Essay

Sometimes words aren’t enough to explain why I love to travel. Since “a picture is worth a thousand words,” here a few to help describe why I love the world.

Goat tied to pole on sidewalk in Alexandria, Egypt

Differing ideas about what constitutes a pet

Me and IDF soldiers along border with Jordan

The people whom I meet

Bright blue water of the Carribean Sea

The waters that are blue - unlike the black water where I live

Scores of sharks lying on concreteing on concrete

Laws that differ from our own (don't worry - this is legal)

Omani man walking outside at Grand Mosque in Muscat

The places of the people

Man posing for photo on brige over Nile River

The misunderstandings - I wanted him to take a photo of me, so I ended up with a photo of him - whoever he is

Touching hieroglyph in Egypt

The dreams come true - touching Egypt

Have you ever travelled to Peru? I travel there on business pretty often and see solo tourists there all the time. It’s a pretty interesting country as well, Machu Picchu, Cusco, the Nazca lines, Paracas, Amazon Jungle, etc. etc… It’s a very affordable country to visit and very safe as well. I originally used Closer Peru as my Peru vacation planner the first time I went a couple of years back.

Did the Israeli soldiers that you so proudly photgraphed yourself with tell you about the murders they committed and their infatuation with killing children! You are dumb and your pictures suck!
